Macxol Soluble Cutting Oil
‘Macxol Soluble Cutting Oil’ is a high performance water miscible cutting oil specially used for general purpose machining and shaping of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and also alloys. It forms stable, milky white emulsion on dilution with water and is designed to provide optimum cooling, anti- rust and lubrication characteristics during use.
Macxol Soluble Cutting Oil contains narrow –cut hydrocarbon oil and is formulated with synergestic polar substance and additives to enhance friction and wear characteristics, thereby facilitating low tool wear and excellent surface finish for the work –piece. It protects both the machine and the work-piece from corrosion and is fortified with anti-bacterial agent for longer emulsion life and stability. It does not produce any tramp oil contamination and possesses excellent stability in hard water upto hardness 600 ppm.
Macxol Solube Cutting oil is free from chlorine, phenolic materials , nitrite and other toxic ingredients and can be easily disposed off.
Application: Macxol Soluble Cutting Oil can be used 3 to 8 percent concentration with water as a general purpose cost effective cutting fluid for all types of general machining, shaping and cutting operations. It is also suitable for drilling and turning operation where optimum cooling and surface finish are required. Depending on the severity of operation. Solcut ‘A’ can be used in emulsion strength of 3 to 8 percent. It can easily be emulsified and does not form any cream even during prolong uses. For optimum performance and emulsion life it is recommended the quality of water for emulsion preparation and make up should be monitered regularly.
This oil exceeds IS : 1115/1986, Reaffirmed 1996 Specification.
